Make your own Almond Milk

Nothing better than cold almond milk waiting in the fridge for tomorrow’s smoothie. 

Here’s a simple recipe.

  • Soak 1 cup of raw almonds for 12 hours
  • Rinse, then add the almonds plus 3 cups of water in a blender
  • Blend 
  • Pour the mix through a muslin or nut bag
  • Rinse the blender then add the strained milk back in
  • Add 1 tsp vanilla essence or paste
  • Add 2 tbsp date paste
  • Add 1 pinch of Himslayan salt

Blend again and store in the fridge for 2-3 days
