I enjoy preparing a delicious raw breakfast the night before. It’s a ritual that’s all about nutrition and taking the time to invest in oneself.
Last night I put 1/3 cup quinoa flakes into each individual jar.
I added just enough nut milk to cover the flakes.
Into each jar I stirred in 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/4 tsp powdered ginger, 1/4 tsp star anise powder.
I put them into the fridge, covered overnight.
I then added 2 tsp cacao to 2 cups of nut milk, 4 tbsp date paste and 4 tbsp chia seeds.Once blended, I covered that and let it set overnight in the fridge.
This morning I blended 3 kiwi fruit with 1 banana and 1 tsp spirulina.
I toasted some pine nuts in sesame oil.
I poured the spirulina mix over the quinoa and put the chia pudding on top.
I sprinkled cacao nibs, black sesame seeds and pine nuts on the top.
