I’ve posted a recipe for this before but I’m adding this one as it’s a different recipe I made it on a whim, and it is so good!!!
5 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
3 handfuls of raw cashew nuts
3 tbsp white sesame seeds
1/2 a dried red chilli
1/2 tsp chilli powder (or less if you don’t like spice)
1/4 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
2 – 3 sprinkles of coconut sugar
3 cups puffed rice
Himalayan salt to taste
Add the oil to a large frying pan and put the cashews and sesame seeds in, along with the thinly sliced dried chilli.
Sauté, don’t let them burn
Add the spices in, coating everything well
Add in 1/4-1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
Add the rice puffs and stir them in well
Add coconut sugar – stir it in well
Taste, and add a little more sugar or salt to get the balance of spicy, salty and sweet to your liking!
